Rumpus is a modern Australian leather house. We build a short list of pieces properly: top-grain hide, frames that outlast fashion, details finished by hand. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be liked. You commission the piece, we build it, and it arrives with the first chapter of its patina still to come.
From Australia, for the good hours
Rumpus grew out of A Man & His Cave, the Australian group trusted by more than 20,000 customers to furnish the best room in the house. The room with no rules. The one where the week comes off. We started Rumpus to give that room leather worth growing old with, and now we build for homes across the United States.
The man on the lounge
That's Jaya, our founder. His test for every piece is simple: would it survive a decade of late films, long pours and good company, and look better for it. If the answer is no, it doesn't get made.
A short list, on purpose
Every design in the Rumpus collection was hand-picked from the many we considered and turned away. If a shape leans on a trend, it doesn't make the cut. What's left is a small selection we believe is nothing short of timeless: pieces that were right long before us and will still be right decades from now.
